These terms cover the website at thecantry.com and its waitlist. They do not yet cover the app, which is not released. The app’s terms will be added on this page.
Who this agreement is with
The Cantry is operated by Cavvera LLC, doing business as The Cantry.
These terms are an agreement between you and The Cantry. By using this site you accept them. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site.
What this site is
This site gives information about The Cantry, an app that is not released yet, and runs its waitlist. Guides on canning record keeping and canning inventory, and a printable canning inventory sheet, are published here as they are written.
Records, not canning advice
The Cantry records what you did. It doesn't check your process or give canning advice. For that, follow your safe and tested recipe.
The same is true of this site. Its pages are about keeping records and tracking a cantry. Nothing on this site is canning advice, and nothing on it takes the place of your safe and tested recipe.
The waitlist
- Joining the list is free.
- You are on the list once you confirm your email address from the email we send.
- Joining promises nothing about when the app will be available, what it will include or what it will cost. It does not reserve a price or a place, and it does not commit you to buy anything.
- You can leave the list at any time: use the Leave the list link in any email from us, or write to support@thecantry.com.
What the list stores about you is set out in the privacy policy.
The printable sheet
Where this site offers a printable sheet, it is free. You may print it and copy it for your own personal use. Please don’t sell it or present it as your own work.
Who owns the content
The words, drawings and design of this site belong to The Cantry, and so do the name The Cantry and its logo. You may read the site, link to it and quote short parts of it with credit. For any other use, ask first at support@thecantry.com.
The names of other products mentioned on this site belong to their owners.
Acceptable use
Please use this site as a person reading it would. In particular:
- Don’t send automated requests to the waitlist form.
- Don’t enter an email address that isn’t yours.
- Don’t try to break the site, overload it, or get at data that isn’t yours.
- Don’t use the site to break the law.
We may refuse or remove sign-ups that look automated.
Links to other sites
This site may link to sites we don’t run, such as another app’s store listing. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for what they say or do. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there.
No warranty, and limits
This site is offered as it is. We make no promise that it will always be available, that it is free of errors, or that it fits any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Cantry is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site or from relying on what it says.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law says cannot be taken away.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute about these terms or this site is heard in the courts located in Travis County, Texas.
Changes and contact
When these terms change, the new version is posted on this page and the date at the top changes. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
